Music, Art, & Physical Education

Our Montessori Toddler and Primary programs offer experiences in Art, Music, and physical movement as part of their carefully prepared classrooms.  Additional enrichment classes, commonly referred to as “Specials,” are offered once a week outside of the classroom for students ages 5 and up.  In the elementary classrooms, students participate in annual musicals and plays as well.

Music

is designed to spark a love for music within each child.  Our students take part in performances, playing instruments for accompaniment, singing, dancing, and acting.

Art

is studied through the elements of art — line, shape, form, space, color, texture, and value.  Our students enjoy creating works of art and having lessons in Art History to learn more about the artists that have shaped our culture.

Physical Education

is offered for students to play for self-improvement and learning how to play with a team.  Our Physical Education teachers help each child develop a variety of skills though games, coordination and team-building activities.

“Free the child’s potential and you will transform him into the world.”
