Donate to Casa Montessori through the Casa Foundation

The Casa Foundation was established in 2014 in honor of Casa's 40th Anniversary. It is a tax-exempt, non-profit fund that exists for charitable and educational purposes for Casa Montessori School.

Dear Casa Montessori Alumni and Friends,

Greetings from Casa! Whether it’s been a few months or many years since you have thought about us or visited, we still think about all of you often! We wonder how you are, what life has brought you, and what skills you learned at Casa that you still use in your everyday life! We know all of you are successful at being kind and thoughtful as Mrs. Johnson and Dr. Montessori always asked of you! Casa is in its 50th year of nurturing and educating children in the Marietta area. Many second-generation children are now attending our Toddler program through Upper Elementary. Mrs. Johnson is no longer with us physically, but her daughter, Suzanne, is now carrying on her lovely traditions that you all remember so well. The Casa Foundation has been established as a tax-exempt, non-profit fund that exists for charitable and educational purposes for Casa Montessori.

The purpose is to raise and administer funds for the benefit of the students of Casa Montessori. It can invest part of its income if desired. Its means of administering funds can be broad: It can award scholarships to qualified students, underwrite out-of-pocket school costs that parents usually have to fund (such as school trips or special materials for a class); it can cover the cost of teachers’ continuing education; it can contribute to needed new equipment for the school. This foundation does not in any way replace the generous contributions of the Casa Parents Club but will supply a means for alumni and parents of alumni to also assist the school. We know that Casa has played an important role in the success of our former students, as we are constantly being informed by parents that their children’s successes are a result of their education and nurturing at Casa, whether it was for a few years or 10 years spent with our fabulous teachers. Please stay in touch with us, and we thank the families that have so generously donated in the past to the Casa Foundation. Many students have benefitted from your generosity as Mrs. Johnson and now Suzanne always wanted Casa to be available to all children. If you wish to make a tax-exempt donation, the form is on our website (casamontessori.com) under Community and click on “Donate”.

Best Regards,
