	PUBLIX Feed your family and support Casa every time you go to Publix Supermarkets. Please be sure to show the cashier your “Partners in Education Card” as we get a portion of the proceeds of every purchase you make at Publix.

	BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION Save those “Boxtops for Education” – we get money back from this wonderful school fundraiser. We have a “Box” in the Office – so save your Boxtops and send them to school with your child. Thanks!
	CAMPBELLS SOUP LABELS Save those “Campbell Soup Labels” – we earn points for great supplies for our school – think great P.E. equipment and much more. Mmm, mmm, good!

Parents Club Library Available For All Parents
It is located in the foyer waiting area by the office. Please come in to look at the new books that were purchased this summer. Here's the titles of the new books. We have a nice collection of books on subjects ranging from your child's education to parenting and discipline which is available for your reading and listening pleasure. Simply sign the book out on one of the library cards and remember to return it in two weeks. If you happen to have a book that is overdue, now is the time to return it. Please come and enjoy the variety of books we have.

Friday, September 7, 2007, 12-1 PM. Fantastic Friday Luncheon for Teachers & Staff. We have monthly luncheons to thank our teachers and staff for the wonderful contributions they make to our children’s education and growth. These are potluck lunches and the food is provided by moms in respective classrooms. This month, lunch will be provided by Ms. Margaret’s Class. Room Moms assist in coordinating the food contributions.

Friday, September 14, 2007, General Parents Club Meeting, Home of Amy Polefrone, Open to Everyone! Come find out what Parents Club does and how you can get involved in the many projects around Casa. We need your help! Babies & toddlers welcome (childcare provided).

Sunday, September 16, 2007, 4-6 PM, Casa Family Picnic & Business Showcase Come join your friends from Casa for a fun-filled family picnic at MacFarlane Park in East Cobb off of Paper Mill Rd. Kids play games, enjoy easy crafts, and watch Mrs. Johnson’s wonderful “Johnny Appleseed” Puppet Show. Moms & Dads, we are also providing space for a “Business Showcase” where you can share with other Casa families your businesses (this is a great networking opportunity). More information about the picnic & business showcase will be sent via separate emails.

Thursday, November 8, 2007 and Friday November 8, 2007. Georgia Book Fairs, Inc. Book Fair in the Casa Art Room. We are sponsoring and hosting a BOOK FAIR, held by Georgia Book Fairs, Inc. This is a new vendor with great titles – come check it out! This is a great opportunity to purchase holiday gifts for your kids! Georgia Book Fairs offers great books and other gift ideas. Also, be sure to check out the teachers’ Wish Lists for their classrooms—a great way to provide new and enriching books for our childrens’ classrooms. A portion of the profits go directly to Parents Club to support the various activities and financial commitments we have to Casa. We need volunteers to make this a success – please consider helping us!

Tuesday, December 11, 2007, 8:45-11:00 (come following carpool), Home of Orly Fuller. This is our annual Holiday get-together. Open to everyone! Our featured Program will be our Upper Elementary Children performing for us in their Annual Recorder Concert. This is a very enjoyable social where we enjoy the fellowship, friendship, and refreshments of the season. Babies and toddlers welcome to attend – childcare will be provided.

Friday, January 25, 2008, 12:15-2:30, Primary Winter Event It’s an early Primary dismissal day – and a chance for your primary children (and siblings) to get together and have a fun social together. We’ll also have special craft activities for the children. A sandwich and snack lunch will be provided. Location: Holy Family Catholic Church on Lower Roswell Rd. More information will be distributed closer to the event.

Saturday, March 29, 2008, “An Evening in Paris” 6:00-10:00 PM (ADULTS ONLY) Mark your calendars now for this special evening for adults only. We enjoy our Casa friendships, enjoy delicious food & drinks, and bid on the very special art work done by our children with their classmates. We also will have exciting silent auction items for your bidding pleasure. More information will be shared during the year about this major fundraiser to support Casa Montessori.
